We will will have a 10 minute warm-up and we will wake up your bodies, then follow up by a 5-10 min. circle Dance-Caminado. Then we will expand on the differences in the embrace from very traditional Salontango to Modern Salon, followed by an investigation of the possibilities of the basic eight steps. Our favorite intro is the side step, its variations and the possibilities that it presents.
Susanne / Adrien / Monika will translate to German in class
TANGO / MUSICOLOGY / DJing (for DJs, Milonga Organizer & those who are generally interested in Music are very welcome)

The workshop presents on overview of the styles of tango DJing from its earliest Victrola days to the modern digital age. The various styles of DJing are described along with the context in which they were used. The workshop is for both DJs and non-DJs who are interested in understanding the origins and structure of Milongas and Practicas. Raymond will be happy to exchange music for those who DJ and are interested.
