Dans le cadre des semaines GEOEDUCATION, l’Association Africaine pour la Promotion du Géospatial (AGEOS) lance une série de conférences de sensibilisation à l’importance du géospatial et des technologies spatiales comme vecteur de développement dans les écoles d’ingénieurs tunisiennes sur le territoire.

La participation est gratuite et ouverte à tous les chercheurs, étudiants et responsables des organismes gouvernementaux intéressés par ce type d’activités, ainsi qu’aux représentants du secteur privé.

the African Association for the Promotion of Geospatial (AGEOS), is organizing, in collaboration with the IEEE Geoscience & Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) chapter of SUP’COM, a series of conferences to raise awareness of the importance of geospatial and space technologies as a vector of development and which will be given at the Higher School of Communications of Tunis (SUP’COM) – University of Carthage, on Wednesday February 12 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Participation in GeoEducation Day is free and open to all researchers, students and officials of government agencies interested in this type of activity, as well as representatives of the private sector.

The first conference will be given by Dr. Nesrine CHEHATA, Lecturer at Bordeaux INP and President of AGEOS, who will present the association with its missions and actions;
The second conference by Mr. Omar GAAFAR, Technical and Commercial Director at Graphtech and Vice-President of AGEOS who will tell us about major GIS projects in Tunisia.
The third conference will include contributions of space data and drones in agriculture
Finally, we end with a presentation of the ActInSpace Hackathon and the Open Data Hack.
